Join us for a webinar with Brad Berron, William Bryan Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering and Director of Research at the James B. Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits. UK is home to the James B. Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits.

UK's Beam Institute currently organizes student education programs in bourbon production, over $1 million dollars in spirits research activity, and an annual bourbon industry conference. These activities are culminating in a $5 million facility for distillery research and education on UK's campus donated by Beam-Suntory and a $1 million research facility on barrel aging donated by Independent Stave Company. Dr. Berron will discuss UK's activity in the bourbon industry, how students are involved and how alumni can take online classes this summer and fall.
