Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day, or “Girl Day,” is for middle school girls and their parents. Attending girls will be participating in fun, hands-on activities designed to encourage their interest in STEM. Activities will be facilitated by the Kentucky Science Center in an exciting festival atmosphere. While girls are participating in activities, there will be special workshops for parents, too! Parents will hear about what higher education looks like today, followed by a hands-on workshop on how to support your daughter as she pursues a STEM education.
