Safety is my area of interest; I am involved with extension and applied research programs in agricultural safety and health, particularly in the prevention of traumatic injuries involving farm tractors and machinery. I am conducting research on the prevention of occupational disease and injury among agricultural workers and their families and have studied how to develop, implement, and evaluate education and outreach programs to promote the safety and health of agricultural workers and their families.
