Mfon is a senior from Lagos, Nigeria majoring in mechanical engineering. He is a Singletary Scholar, a member of the Lewis Honors College and is currently enrolled in the University Scholars Program. Mfon currently serves as the programs chair for the National Society of Black Engineers and has previously been an active member of the African Students Association and the International Student Leadership Team. Mfon enjoys volunteering at Coventry Oak Elementary School along with other NSBE members helping with their Super Scholar Program and also enjoys spending time with the residents at Ashland Terrace retirement home. He has completed two internships with Cummins Inc. and is set up to pursue his Masters of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering at UK upon completing his bachelor's degree. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing soccer, volleyball, watching movies, making music playlists and hanging out with friends.
