Welcome to the UK Engineering Extended Campus Program in Paducah

Students in Western Kentucky are taking advantage of a great educational opportunity that’s available close to home.  The University of Kentucky, in collaboration with Murray State University and West Kentucky Community and Technical College, offers studies leading to bachelor’s degrees from UK in Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Seniors Beadles and Fulcher Honored

William Beadles and Jared Fulcher, ME seniors, have won the 3rd Place Awards in Undergraduate Research Poster Competition at 2009 American Society for Engineering Education-Southeast Section Conference hold at Southern Polytechnic State University, Marietta, Georgia.

William and Jared's poster presentation was titled "Modal Analysis of an Engine Valve Cover: Experimental Testing and Finite Element Modeling".  Photo

For the seventh consecutive year -- every year since its charter in 2001-- the UK-Paducah student chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers has been named an Outstanding Student Chapter.
