Online Graduate Certificate in Power Systems Now Available

The college is now offering a graduate certificate in power systems that will be available entirely online. Four more online graduate certificates are scheduled to open for registration by spring 2020.

Alumnus Allen Waugerman Named Lexmark President and CEO

Allen Waugerman, BSEE 1994, has served at Lexmark since 1991. He had been Lexmark's senior vice president and chief technology officer since 2016.


Ken Kreafle inducted into Shingo Hall of Fame

Ken Kreafle, longtime employee of Toyota, was inducted into the Shingo Institute’s Academy, or Hall of Fame April 30, 2019 at the annual Shingo Conference. Kreafle has a long association with the University of Kentucky, College of Engineering’s Lean Systems Program.


Smith, Wilson Recognized as Outstanding Teachers

Mechanical engineering professor Suzanne Smith and chemical engineering lecturer Sarah Wilson received Outstanding Teaching Awards during the 2019 UK Faculty Awards Ceremony.

Reese S. Terry Jr. (BSEE 1964; MSEE 1966) is a member of the College of Engineering’s Hall of Distinction and the UK Hall of Distinguished Alumni.
