E-Day Open House Offers Hands-on Engineering

Engineers Day, better known as E-Day, is February 25, 2017, from 9 am to 1 pm. This open house showcases the diversity of research in the UK College of Engineering. The event, sponsored by Lexmark, offers interactive displays for school-age children in six buildings across campus.

UK Students To Present Research At Conference

Two mechanical engineering students of the University of Kentucky College of Engineering Paducah Campus have been selected to present their research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research, scheduled for April 6-8 at the University of Memphis.

Engineering Lab Renovated to Accommodate Increased Enrollments

University of Kentucky engineering students have a new laboratory space. A renovation of the Chemical Engineering Unit Operations Laboratory in the basement of the F. Paul Anderson Tower will accommodate the recent increase in undergraduate chemical engineering class sizes.

UK Honors Student Veteran Matthew Ebert

As an aviation electronics technician in the United States Marine Corps, Matthew Ebert experienced two separate deployments to Iraq and the Persian Gulf.

After facing the challenge of serving his country, Ebert says he was ready for a new goal to achieve. That’s why he chose to become a mechanical engineering major in University of Kentucky College of Engineering.
