Liam Dancey (BSCE 2020), published an article in the November issue of Railway Track & Structures. The article is titled, "Eastern Kentucky railyard revitalization" and was co-authored with Emeritus Professor Jerry Rose.
Dancey is part of UK RailCats, the UK Student Chapter of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA). AREMA serves as the professional organization for the railway industry and Dancey's article was chosen to spotlight an outstanding railway engineering activity for an AREMA student group.
The article details RaiCats' involvement in a railway project in Ravenna, Kentucky. You can read it here (pp. 26-27). Dancey works at Norfolk Southern as an engineer management trainee.
