Paul Rottmann, assistant professor of materials engineering, has published a paper in the prestigious academic journal Science. Rottmann worked on the paper, titled, "Multiplicity of Dislocation Pathways in a Refractory Multi-Principal Element Alloy," with a team from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Rottmann graduated from UK in 2010 with a degree in materials science and engineering. He went on to receive a master's degree and a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Johns Hopkins University before joining the UK Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering in 2019.
