Region III...

Region III of the National Society of Black Engineers consists of thirty-eight(38) chapters locaret throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee and consists of the Regional Executive Board, Regional Advisory Board, Alumni Extension Board, and over 1300 members. It serves the membership and community through such programs as the High School Outreach Program, Regional Conferences, Awards Recoginition, and the Regional Resume Book.

To academically, technically, and culturally, enhance the members of Region III in their pursuit of a successful career.

Region III Vision

To empower an uplift the African-American community by means of a support system and network through the development of engineers in the Southeast.

Region III Pledge

Region III pledges to recruit, retain, and successfully graduate minorities in engineering and other applied sciences. We prescribe to promote and encourage academic excellence, personal growth, and professional development. We pledge to be dedicated to the revitalization and uplifting of the African-American community.

Region III Executive Board Pledge to the Membership

We have assumed the duties and the responsibilities of our offices with the commitment to serve. We seek no power or personal glory, but only find pride in the accomplishment and growth of those we serve. Out rewards rest in the completion of our goals. We must also hold ourselves accountable to out members. For it is they who will judge us, and it is to them we must be able to answer.
