CHRIS K ALPHA GALLERY

Updated 5-6-2010

The data available on this site was contributed by our Alpha Tester Chris K. THANKS!

We have a new GL3Dview.exe which has many more features than the old one. If you view the old tutorial, you can find most of those features in the drop down menus in the new version.

3-DIMENSIONAL GALLERY

Chris K has downloaded and gotten the UofKScannerLT system running with his Logitech camera. The quality of the scans are extremely good for a Logitech camera running at 480 x 640 pixels. He has also upgraded to a LT9000 to achieve higher resolutions scans.

This leaf was in black and white but LGH took the liberty to colorize it using the new GL3DViewer. Click to download the F.bmp mat5.

(With a Logitech, the original scan can be in color. In settings-Pattern Controls-Albedo Projection Types should have “White” selected and in Settings-Camera Controls-Pixel Type, Color should be selected.
