Tasks
Task One Brainstorming
Task Two Refining Brainstorming to Potential Design
Combine into groups or 2 and find a way to take 3 of the brainstormed
ideas and make them feasible as a senior design project. The hypothesis is that
no matter how blue sky the idea is that there is a way to glean a practical idea
from it.
Task Three White Paper Proposal for Project
Task Three short version of White Paper outline
Projects:
There are 2 design categories of projects, both involve a prototype: (1)
PRODUCTION READY PROTOTYPE projects are intended to establish a prototype whose
next implementation would be a production device. These devices are usually
well tuned, minimal in components and have well established performance
measures. (2) FEASIBILITY PROTOTYPE projects are used to demonstrate the idea,
quite often a very sophisticated idea. They often involve breadboards, many
components and wires and are not usually production ready.
