Morgan Abney graduated with her Ph.D. in May 2007. Her research focused on using antigenic disguise to improve hemocompatibility of surfaces. During her Ph.D. studies, she participated in the summer research program at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL and summer also completed an internship program at Oak Ridge National Labs. She is currently employed at Lexmark International in Lexington, KY.
