Undergraduate Student

Stew Fraser is an undergraduate student in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Kentucky. He is originally from Gaithersburg, Maryland, but has resided in Lexington, Kentucky for the past three years. He has been a member of Dr. Hilt’s research group for over a year. In addition to classes and research, he spends time watching and playing basketball.

Stew’s current project in the Hilt Laboratory is to develop and analyze intelligent polymer systems. Currently, there is great potential in using remotely applied magnetic fields in micro- and nanoscale devices for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
