Undergraduate Student

Ramin Ettehadieh is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Kentucky. He will complete his degree in chemical engineering in the summer of 2006 and plans to attend medical school in the fall of 2007.

His current investigations in the laboratory are with regards to determining a new image based technique to perform dynamic swelling studies for hydrogel polymer networks. This work is meant to aide in the understanding of the swelling characteristics of various polymer networks in real time.
