REU Student

Austin Duke is a senior at North Carolina State University where he is pursuing an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering with a concentration in biomedical instrumentation. He was born and raised in Raleigh, NC where he attended W.G. Enloe High School. When not in class, Austin enjoys being involved in Campus Crusade for Christ, playing guitar/piano, and playing/watching any sport, primarily baseball.

His current project in the laboratory is the synthesis and characterization of novel hydrogels for use in the regeneration of human growth plate tissue.
