Vivekanand earned his Bachelor's in Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from A.I.T. Chikmaglur, Kuvempu University India in 2000. He joined the Graduate Program at the department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of Kentucky in fall 2001. Among his research interests are fabrication and characterization of Nanowires for device applications and study of nanoporous structures for optoelectronic applications.
