The circuit files can then be opened with this software and
simulations run. I recommend saving the
circuit files from the links below (right mouse click on most browsers) to your
local disk and then open with you SPIC
AC1Ex – This circuit contains a dependent source with a simulation to find a phasor quantity using the .AC (AC Frequency Sweep) simulation. The first line of the resulting table contains the magnitude and phase for the output voltage with input being 10cos(1000t) Volts.
AC2Ex_OPAMP3 – This circuit contains a 3-pin Op Amp with a simulation to find a phasor quantity using the .AC (AC Frequency Sweep) simulation. The first line of the resulting table contains the magnitude and phase for the output voltage with input being 1cos(2000t) Volts.
AC2Ex_OPAMP5 – This circuit contains a 5-pin Op Amp with a simulation to find a phasor quantity using the .AC (AC Frequency Sweep) simulation. The power supply to the op amp is connected with the marker/probe device from the SPICE devices menu. The first line of the resulting table contains the magnitude and phase for the output voltage with input being 1cos(2000t) Volts.
TFLPF2ex – This circuit contains an active second order low-pass filter using a .AC (AC Frequency Sweep) simulation to plot the phase and magnitudes of the transfer function. Once the simulation is run, use the “edit plots” feature (right mouse click on the graph) to display the only the phase or magnitude of interest. The program will often include many plots on the same graph after simulation making it difficult to see the plot of interest.
