The student chapter of the American Society of Civil
Engineers ASCE at the University of Kentucky offers
students an excellent opportunity to learn more about the civil
engineering profession, gain valuable contacts with engineering
employers, and get to know other students in the department. 
Our monthly meetings feature speakers from a variety of civil
engineering fields such as transportation, structures, water
resources, environmental, and construction. The UK ASCE
student chapterorganizes many activities throughout the year
such as community service events, socials, and field trips. 
The chapter also participates annually in the concrete canoe
and steel bridge competitions. Attend our next monthly meeting
to learn what civil engineering is really all about!
