After six months of design and construction, UK's newest solar car, Gato del Sol III, was unveiled to the public on a beautiful Kentucky day. With all systems working more than a month before the team leaves for Dallas TX and the North American Solar Challenge 2008, the outlook is good for the team and Gato III. The next month entails rigorous testing and improvements to the mechanical and electrical systems of the car. Be sure to look for the car in Lexington and the surrounding areas in Kentucky and cheer for the team as they make their way from Dallas TX to Calgary, Alberta, Canada from July 13th to July 22nd.
