Current Project:

“Cloud computing”: Cloud computing has attracted a great deal of attention due to its ability to provide software/infrastructure/platform as a service without requiring large investments and expenses required to manage and operate these services.  It allows convenient and pay-per-use acces to a large pool of virtualized resources which include hardware, services, and applications.  As cloud computing gains rapid traction in the commercial world, the twin concerns of security and availability become paramount.  Singhal’s current research focuses on development of techinques for authentification and secure sharing of information in multi-cloud environments.  When several clouds collaborate and share information, authentification, and secure information sharing become challenging issues.
