International Engineering Service Learning Project: Banda Aceh, Indonesia
This program is a partnership with the University of Kentucky and the Universitas Syiah Kuala in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. It is a community service venture which will include a study to optimize a trash collection system for the city, which was devastated by a tsunami in 2004. In order to develop the appropriate solution, a team from the University of Kentucky will collect the required data, research possible ideas to be considered, and determine the most appropriate solution for the situation that Banda Ache is facing.
