The College Grants Officer position was developed to assist the faculty members and departmental personnel with the various details of research funding.  This office works with the faculty and staff as a college consultant to

• assist in the development of proposal budgets
• identify appropriate sponsor proposal and internal forms and information for completion of the forms
• educate both faculty and staff on University and sponsor regulations for appropriate grant account expenditures
• assist departmental personnel with reporting faculty effort and other types of  cost-sharing
• facilitate resolution of accounting problems on grant accounts
• other tasks related to grants
