What You Need to Apply

Applying for college at the University of Kentucky extended campus program in Paducah is easy! Follow these steps to get started. Remember, if you need help at any time you can always reach us using the contact information below.

First-time freshman:

  1. Fill out a University of Kentucky Application for Admission. You can download a copy at  www.uky.edu/Admission/files/application.pdf  or pick one up from your high school guidance counselor. Paducah students should submit the application to the Paducah campus, not Lexington, at the address below. The regular UK application fee is waived for Paducah students.
  2. Send two official copies of your high school transcript Transcripts must be signed or stamped by a high school official and mailed to the address below.
  3. Send your ACT scores to UK and WKCTC Test scores must be sent directly from the testing agency and can be requested at www.act.org. Test scores must be sent both to UK and WKCTC. UK’s ACT code is 1554. WKCTC’s is 1538.
  4. Schedule an appointment to visit UK Paducah by contacting Deena Crouch by phone or email. You will need to visit UK Paducah to finish the application process.

Transfer applicants with previous college work:

Students who wish to apply to the UK College of Engineering at Paducah with previous college work must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better for all work attempted and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better at the last college attended. For further information, please contact us.
