Application Process
The Bachelor of Science degree is offered in cooperation with Murray State University and West Kentucky Community and Technical College. As a rough guide, the first two academic years are primarily general education courses taken through WKCTC. The final two years are primarily engineering courses offered by UK. Students in the program can earn their degree fully at the Paducah campus, with no traveling necessary.
In order to enroll in classes, you must first follow the application process. Applications will need to be completed to both University of Kentucky and West Kentucky Community and Technical College. Unlike the Lexington campus, no application fee is required for the College of Engineering in Paducah for incoming freshmen. There is no deadline for either application, but because courses do fill up, earlier applications are preferred. For more details, please see the Admission Procedures below.
Our students are eligible for scholarships through both UK and WKCTC. Therefore, it is also necessary to fill out two different scholarship applications.
