At UK Paducah, you can take advantage of three different scholarships sources: University of Kentucky scholarships, UK Paducah scholarships, and West Kentucky Community and Technical College Scholarships. We want to give you the extra financial edge you need to succeed! Be sure to discuss financial aid opportunities with our staff when you contact us or come in for a visit.
For Freshmen and Sophomore Students (Deadline March 1, 2012)
1.) Generous four-year scholarships are available through the College of Engineering Extended Campus Program in Paducah. The largest scholarship is the J.M. Harper Memorial Scholarship which covers full tuition, course fees and book costs for the entire four years.

2.) Numerous academic and need-based awards area also available from WKCTC. Applications can be completed online.

3.) TW Lewis Scholarship - These scholarship awards are based on academic achievement, demonstrated leadership potential, and financial need. Deadline is January 13
For Junior and Senior Students
In addition to numerous UK Paducah and WKCTC scholarships, juniors and seniors are eligible to apply for the Trustees Scholarship for use at the Paducah campus. This award ranges from a one time $750 scholarship to the difference between WKCTC and UK tuition for the remaining two years.
2012-2013 Scholarship Opportunities
Rotary Scholar Award – Engineering Standing Required
This scholarship is a $1,000 cash award available to a mechanical or a chemical engineering student, who resides in McCracken County, is a high achiever, and demonstrates financial need. The recipient must attend a local award ceremony.
Arkema Scholarship – Engineering Standing Required
Arkema provides two $2,000 scholarships. Each $2,000 scholarship recipient will receive $1,000 per semester.
NOTE: Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required
Helen Murphy Scholarship – Engineering Standing Required
This is a $500 scholarship to be paid in increments of $250 per semester. Preference is given to a student not receiving other scholarship money.

Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 184 Scholarship
Although all students who meet the scholarship criteria are eligible to apply, preference will be given to a member, dependent, or relative of a present or deceased member of Local 184. The name of the qualifying Local 184 member must be indicated on the application. In addition, preference is given to students majoring in mechanical engineering and residing in the Purchase District of Kentucky.
