Go Girl! Engineering Sleepover

Girls grades 3-6 and their mothers or other female role models are invited to Go Girl!, UK Engineering's first-ever engineering sleepover for girls. This year's event is sponsored by the Power and Energy Institute of Kentucky (PEIK).  Come spend the night on campus and do fun engineering activities!

Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Class Shadow Program

Join us and see where you’ll live and learn while on a UK Campus Tour, learn about applying to UK Engineering in an Engineering Information Session, interact with future college friends during lunch (free!) and shadow a SWE student to an engineering class. Space is limited, register now!

WiE Explore: Women in Engineering Summer Camp

Women in Engineering (WiE) Explore at the University of Kentucky College of Engineering is a six-day, residential summer camp designed to provide an opportunity to female students to explore all nine UK Engineering majors. Young women entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade in fall 2018 are eligible to register.

Women in Engineering Day

During Women in Engineering (WIE) Day, high school women grades 10-12 will interact with alumni, faculty, staff and students as they explore UK Engineering. Learn about the process of applying to UK, listen in as female faculty members discuss their experience as a woman in engineering and engage with current leaders in the UK Society of Women Engineers. The next WiE is Friday, September 21, 2018.

Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day

Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day, or “Girl Day,” is for middle school girls and their parents. Attending girls will be participating in fun, hands-on activities designed to encourage their interest in STEM. Activities will be facilitated by the Kentucky Science Center in an exciting festival atmosphere. While girls are participating in activities, there will be special workshops for parents, too! Lexmark E-Day

Engineers Day, or E-Day, is a celebration of everything engineering has to offer. From building bridges to discovering new medications to writing the software that powers our cell phones, engineers and computer scientists do the things that make our 21st-century world work. The next E-Day celebration is Saturday, February 23, 2019.
