The PES Scholarship Plus Initiative™ [...]]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The IEEE Power and Energy Society has selected five UK College of Engineering electrical engineering students to receive scholarships as part of the inaugural round of the Scholarship Plus Initiative™.</p><p>The students selected are: <strong>junior Nick Aerni</strong>; <strong>senior Michael Ard</strong>; <strong>senior Joseph Kaseta</strong>; <strong>senior Jordan Laycock; and</strong> <strong>sophomore Seth Hendrix.</strong><strong></strong></p><p>The PES Scholarship Plus Initiative™ recognizes undergraduate students who have declared a major in electrical and computer engineering, are high achievers with strong GPAs with distinctive extracurricular commitments and are committed to exploring the power and energy field.</p><p>Each scholarship recipient receives<strong> $2,000 as well as a certificate commemorating their award.</strong><strong></strong></p> ]]></content:encoded> <wfw:commentRss>http://www.engr.uky.edu/news/2011/11/five-electrical-engineering-students-receive-power-scholarships/feed/</wfw:commentRss> <slash:comments>0</slash:comments> </item> </channel> </rss>
