Bhattacharyya to Receive Gerhold Award

Dr. Dibakar Bhattacharyya, university alumni professor of chemical engineering, has been named the 2009 recipient of the Clarence (Larry) G. Gerhold Award by the Separations Division of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). The Gerhold Award is presented annually in recognition of outstanding contributions in the research, development, or application of chemical separations technology. Dr. Bhattacharyya, who is a Fellow of the AIChE, will receive the award at the AIChE Annual Meeting in Nashville in November, 2009.
