College welcomes Homecoming guestsThe College of Engineering welcomed more than 100 guests for a Homecoming celebration Saturday October 16 in the Raymond Commons inside the Ralph G. Anderson Building. Dean Thomas W. Lester expressed thanks to alumni for their support of the College. The dean also presented a summary of outstanding accomplishments by faculty and students of the College. UK President Lee T. Todd, Jr. (BSEE '68) stopped by to visit with guests and students. Several student projects,including BIG BLUE, the solar-powered car Gato Del Sol, and the quarter-scale tractor were on display. Graduates of the classes of 1954, 1964, 1979 and 1994 were recognized.
