Chemical engineering professor Isabel Escobar, recent doctoral student Xiaobo "Max" Dong and 2019 chemical engineering graduate Amna Al-Jumaily have received a 2020 Best Paper Award from the journal Membranes. Their paper was chosen from all of the research and review articles published between 1 January and 31 December 2018 on the basis of their originality and significance, as well as the number of citations and download rates in 2019.
