UK Paducah Papers Among Most Downloaded in Publication

One UK Paducah graduate student and three UK Paducah faculty members authored papers that are among the top 10% most downloaded papers published in Environmental Progress & Sustainable Energy.

One UK Paducah graduate student and three UK Paducah faculty members authored papers that are among the top 10% most downloaded papers published in Environmental Progress & Sustainable Energy. The timeframe for the downloads was between January 2018 and December 2019.

Chemical engineering Ph.D. student Chandni Joshi and PJC Board of Trustees Engineering Professor of Chemical Engineering Jeffrey Seay authored the paper titled “A perspective on a locally managed decentralized circular economy for waste plastic in developing countries.”

Seay and chemical engineering assistant professors Derek Englert and Hyun Tae Hwang collaborated on the paper titled “Evaluation of volumetric mass transfer coefficient in a stirred tank bioreactor using response surface methodology.”
