David Herrin, Ph.D. and Director of the Vibro-Acoustics Consortium, is featured on the cover of the July issue of Sound & Vibration magazine. The trade publication, which focuses on topics such as noise and vibration control, acoustical engineering and computer-aided engineering, reaches industry professionals and university engineering departments on a monthly basis. Sound & Vibration had previously published two of Herrin’s articles.

“David’s new article and the opportunity to be on the cover of Sound & Vibration magazine is recognition that he is on to something, and that what he is developing will be of great use and interest to industry,” said Andrew Seybert, Ph.D. and former Director of the Vibro-Acoustics Consortium.

The Vibro-Acoustics Consortium is funded by 16 member companies and engages in acoustic simulation and absorptive materials research which are of interest to the entire group.
