Junior Chemical and Materials Engineering Student Wesley Whipple from the Paducah Extended Campus was awarded the Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award at the 2011 International Congress of Sustainability Science and Engineering in Tucson, Arizona for his contribution titled “Interfacial Phenomena in Biodiesel Production”. Wesley is mentored by Dr. Jeffrey Seay, Assistant Professor of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the Paducah Extended Campus.
