Members of the UK College of Engineering Solar Car Team were invited to visit the North American headquarters for Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing (TEMA) to display Gato del Sol III for Toyota executives and employees. Toyota is one of the current sponsors of Gato del Sol III. Toyota employees stopped by to view Gato del Sol III, check out design and race plans for Gato del Sol IV and ask questions of the team members about all aspects of the car. The highlight of the day was a visit by TEMA President/CEO, Ted Agata who greeted team members and took Gato del Sol for a spin around the property.
