The latest model of the UK Solar Car, Gato del Sol, was unveiled Wednesday, May 21. A UK team and Gato del Sol will compete in the 2008 North American Solar Challenge (NASC2008), a competition to design, build, and drive solar-powered cars in a cross-country time/distance rally event. Teams will compete in a 2400 mile drive from Dallas, Texas to Calgary, Alberta in July.
