A paper co-authored by Dr. K. C. Mahboub, associate professor of civil engineering and director of graduate studies, has been selected to receive the Glen L. Martin Best Paper Award for 2003 by the civil engineering division of the American Society of Engineering Education. 

The paper, titled �Creativity in Design: A Cross-Disciplinary Approach� was co-authored by Mahboub with Yinhui Liu, Susantha Chandraratna and Dr. Margaret B. Portillo.

The award will be presented June 22 in Salt Lake City at the ASEE annual conference.
