Why Mining at UK?

“If it can’t be grown, it must be mined.”

The Department of Mining Engineering maintains a strong working relationship with the mining and minerals industry.  Mining companies hold interviews for co-op, summer and full-time employment opportunities at various times during the fall and spring semesters.
