Mechanical engineering students are encouraged to explore membership in several organizations within the College of Engineering. From the American Society of Mechanical Engineers to the “Weightless Wildcats” – a student-led group committed to conducting experiments in zero-gravity environments – these organizations offer opportunities for student members to participate in on-site visits, guest lecturers, conferences and competitions.
