The department offers ABET accredited, integrated programs on two campuses to prepare students for opportunities in mechanical engineering. Students can pursue the B.S. degree at the Lexington campus,  Paducah campus, or the Joint Degree Program with Western Kentucky University. The undergraduate program offers students flexibility as well as sufficient depth and breadth of study through  a variety of course offerings. The program also also offers a certification in Aerospace Engineering. Students can examine the approved curriculum sheets from the UK registrars office.
