SEL Staff
Jennifer Eskew, Senior Library Technician joined the SEL staff in 2004. She has a B.A. in English from the University of Kentucky and is currently pursuing a degree in Russian language. She has eight years experience in libraries working at both UK and Lexington Public Library.
Sue Smith, Head - Shaver Engineering Library joined UK Libraries in 2004. She received her Master in Library Science from the University of Pittsburgh and has a B.A. in geology from the State University of New York College at Buffalo. She has twenty-five years experience, primarily as a R&D librarian in the petroleum, steel, and plastics industries.
A member of Special Libraries Association throughout her career, she is currently a member of the Kentucky Chapter as well as Engineering, Sci-Tech and Information Technology Divisions. She is currently serving on the SLA Sci-Tech Division Awards Committee; Secretary-Elect for Engineering Division; Public Relations and Diversity Committees - Kentucky Chapter of SLA and co-editor for the Kentucky Chapter Newsletter.
