Engineering Graduate Student Organizations

The College of Engineering has several graduate student specific students organizations in which to become involved. These include:

Engineering Graduate Student Lounge

A lounge area dedicated solely to College of Engineering graduate students is located in room 322 of the Center for Robotics and Manufacturing Systems building (CRMS). Entry can be gained through room 324 (kitchen). Access is restricted to active graduate students in the College of Engineering. The lounge is open 24/7. Please use your UK ID card to enter.

To request access, visit: http://www.engr.uky.edu/request-room-access

The lounge gives graduate students from all COE departments a place to relax and interact with each other on an informal basis. Graduate students are encouraged to socialize in the lounge. While you may read or study in the lounge, it is NOT intended as a quiet study room. The lounge is equipped with comfortable seating areas, café tables and chairs, a foosball table, large screen television, and a variety of board games. The adjacent kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, sink, and Keurig hot beverage machine. Bring your own mug and K-cup to brew coffee or tea.
