Provost's Outstanding Teachers Awards Named
Dr. John Balk, assistant professor, chemical and materials engineering was the recipient of one of the 2009 Provost's Outstanding Teaching Awards at UK. Additionally, Dr. Balk received the Henry Lutes Award for Excellence in Teaching, the top teaching award in engineering, and was named the Outstanding Materials Engineering Teacher Award for the fourth consecutive year.
