If you are planning to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree from the College of Engineering in either August 2012 or December 2012, please go to your myUK account and APPLY TO GRADUATE.
The deadline to apply on-line for August graduation is February 28.
The deadline to apply on-line for December graduation is June 30. I realize that is a few months away but it will be here before you know it, so go ahead and apply now.
February 1, 2012
February 1 is the deadline for two different myUK transactions related to grading:

2. Last day to change a grading option (i.e. to Pass/Fail); NOTE: Any class you are taking to fulfill a degree requirement must be taken for a grade (A, B, etc., not P/F).
ALSO OF NOTE: February 8 is the last day to withdraw or drop a course and receive any refund.
If you have any questions, please contact your advisor or the Registrar’s Office.

As you may know, graduate students in the College of Engineering are required to attend two types research-related training:
1. Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training on research ethics and data management
2. Safety training applicable to the particular type of laboratory environment in which you work
RCR training has been scheduled for this Friday, February 3. There will be two sessions 1 – 3 pm and 3 – 5 pm.
Both will take place in 323 CRMS.
Please go to the following website and register for one of the two available sessions.
If you previously attended RCR training during the 2010-2011, you do NOT need to attend a second time.
If you have any questions, please contact Monica Mehanna.
