PEIk Seminar Series: “Richardsville Elementary: The 1st Net Zero Energy School in the United States

The Power and Energy Institute of Kentucky (PEIK) is holding a seminar:
Wednesday, October 9, at 3:00 pm,
in the Center Theatre in the University of Kentucky Student Center.

Title: “Richardsville Elementary; The 1st Net Zero Energy School in the United States”.

Speaker: Kenneth L. Seibert, PE, LEED AP, President, CMTA
Mr. Seibert is President of CMTA Inc., a 90 person consulting engineering firm located in Kentucky, Texas and Indiana. He is a 1983 mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Kentucky. During his tenure as President, CMTA has gained a national reputation in the area of high performance buildings and net zero energy designs. Mr. Seibert was recognized by Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear with the 2009 Governor’s Energy Leadership Award. Mr. Seibert has published four articles in ASHRAE’s High Performing Buildings magazine.
