Optical Microscopy

The EMC has a Reichart upright optical microscope with a magnification range from 10x to 1000x. It is outfitted with Differential Interference (DI), polarizers, above and below illumination, and has digital image capture. This microscope is excellent for checking samples and imaging grains. The microscope is located in ASTeCC A215.
