Pringle Mailing Contest 2007

Objective:
The objective of this contest is to successfully mail one Pringle potato chip without it breaking. Participants may mail Pringles to KSPE anytime prior to E-Day. The packages will be opened during E-Day at 9:30 AM to see if they have broken. The winning package will be the lightest package received in which the Pringle did not break.

Categories:
The categories will be K-8 students and High School students.

Prizes:
There will be prizes awarded to 1st place and 2nd place in each category. First place will be determined by the lightest package in which the Pringle is received unbroken. Prizes can be picked up at the KSPE Student Chapter booth at 11:00 a.m.

Contest rules

  1. Package must include one (1) regular unaltered Pringle potato chip; no more than one chip can be included per package.
  2. There are no size specifications; however remember that package weights will be compared to determine winner.
  3. Any non-hazardous materials may be used, or Pringle Packers®.
  4. All packages must be received no later than February 23, 2007 .
  5. Packages may be mailed (must use US Postal System, no UPS or FEDX) to:

        Lexington , KY 40506-0281

  6. Packages must include return addresses and phone numbers, broken chips are not counted (obviously).
  7. The University of Kentucky or its employees are not responsible for lost or misdirected mail.
