Triangle Tower Contest 2006
Description:
You will be given 2 sheets of paper and a 3 foot section of masking tape with the goal of building the highest structure from the floor up.
Rules/Procedure:
1. All ages welcome.
2. Competition is a walk up from 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m.
3. The only materials that can be used will be provided and are:
-2 sheets of regular 8 1/2" x 11" notebook paper
-3 foot of masking tape
4. Structure cannot be built ahead of time, everything must be done under the supervision of a UK student during 9am-1pm.
Judging:
Highest structure wins.
Will be measured from the ground to the highest point on structure 5 minutes after it is built to ensure stability.
Announcement of winner will occur at 1:30 pm.
Prizes:
The prize will be announced day of competition (eg, UK mug, or shirt).
The prize will be mailed later.
