What is it?

In the tradition of Battle Bots, ASME will be hosting a competition were the main goal is to design a remotely controlled vehicle to joust with another. Competitors will compete in a single elimination style tournament in an 8’x8’x4' ring. Matches will occur in allotted time periods were the last robot running or sustaining the least damage advances to the next round. Robots/vehicles may simply be a modified Rc car or built completely from ones imagination. Radio control or wire controlled vehicles are both acceptable. Further restrictions are listed below.

Restrictions

• ▪ Price Limit: $60 (must provide documentation if requested)

  ▪ Size: 8"x8"x8"

  ▪ Weight Limit: 10 lb total (including batteries, excluding controller)

  ▪ No harmful or hazardous materials allowed (safe to digest)

  ▪ No solid projectiles

  ▪ No open flames

  ▪ No electrical discharge

  ▪ Cars subject to safety inspection.
