Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers Bachelors of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. (The BS degree in Computer Engineering is offered in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science.) The department has a long history of preparing students for successful careers.

The first graduate of Electrical Engineering at the University of Kentucky was in 1922. Our graduates have become inventors and developers of important technologies affecting communication, defense, healthcare, entertainment, and other industries and have advanced to lead major world corporations.
